FIND YOUR KIND OF WILD
Where’s your wild side?
Same curiosity. Different adventures.

Learning comes to life out here.MORE THAN A DESTINATION
Come for the adventure.
Stay for the people.
The mountain views are pretty incredible. So is finding a group of people who share your curiosity.
Come solo or bring someone along. Live, learn, explore, and share the moments between the milestones. That’s the heart of Wild Med.
FROM THE WILD MED PHOTO ALBUM
This is what you bring home.
Real trips. Real people. Really good memories.

Can non-medical participants attend?
Yes, absolutely.
We regularly have non-medical spouses and friends join our trips. In fact, we’ve even had non-medical participants attend with no prior connection to anyone in the group.
Our experiences are designed to be welcoming, inclusive, and community-focused. While medical professionals participate in the CME portion, non-medical attendees fully enjoy the adventure, lodging, meals, and group activities.
Does the CME credit count for nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, respiratory therapists, etc.?
We have had many nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals attend our courses and successfully obtain CME/CE approval.
However, we strongly recommend checking with your individual certifying board prior to registering if CME approval is a make-or-break factor in your decision. Requirements vary by profession and state, and we want you to feel confident before committing.
What is the average age of attendees?
We truly have a wide range of ages attend our trips.
We’ve welcomed participants from age 18 to 74. Most attendees tend to fall in the 30–50 age range, but the most important factor is not age — it’s health, attitude, and a sense of adventure.
If you’re healthy enough for the activity and excited about the experience, you’ll fit right in.
Can I bring my kids?
We have occasionally permitted minors to attend select trips. However, this requires prior authorization before registering.
Each destination and itinerary is different, so if you’re considering bringing a child, please contact us directly to discuss the specific trip.
Will I feel out of place if I come solo?
Absolutely not.
In fact, approximately 70% of our attendees come solo.
When traveling solo, you’ll be paired with a same-sex roommate (some trips allow you to request a single supplement option for an additional fee). One of the most common things we hear from participants is how quickly the group bonds.
Many attendees tell us they walk away with new lifelong friends — and often feel like they’ve gained a new extended family.
What makes Wild Med Adventures different from a traditional conference?
We combine high-quality continuing medical education with meaningful, immersive adventure experiences.
Instead of sitting in a hotel conference room for days, you’ll:
• Learn in inspiring environments
• Build real friendships
• Experience unforgettable destinations
• Integrate wellness, exploration, and education
It’s professional growth — without burnout.
What is the group size?
Our group sizes range from 8-30 depending on the course. We intentionally keep our groups small to maintain a personal, high-quality experience. Smaller groups allow for stronger connection, better safety oversight, and a more meaningful adventure.
