Vietnam Off-Road CME Adventure
Feb 22 – March 8, 2026
Ride the legendary Ho Chi Minh Trail while earning up to 14 AMA PRA Category 1 CME credits in one of the most immersive wilderness medicine experiences in the world.
This 14-night, cross-border off-road expedition takes you from Hanoi remote Vietnam deep into Laos back to Vietnam Hoi An, combining demanding dirt bike riding, austere medical education, and cultural immersion along one of history’s most iconic routes.
Designed for high-intermediate to expert off-road riders, this course blends 75% off-road / 25% on-road riding, daily hands-on wilderness medicine education, and full logistical support — all while traveling through jungles, river crossings, mountain villages, and historic war sites rarely seen by tourists.
Participants ride Honda 250cc dirt bikes with experienced local guides and a follow van, while the Wild Med Adventures faculty delivers CME curriculum in real-world, austere environments — exactly where these skills matter most.
This is not a sightseeing tour.
This is a physically demanding, high-reward expedition for those who want to push themselves, build lasting friendships, and earn CME while doing something unforgettable.

The Experience
The Experience
This is not a tour — it’s a full-on adventure.
Over 12 days of riding, you’ll tackle remote sections of the Ho Chi Minh Trail across Vietnam and Laos, navigating jungle tracks, mountain roads, river crossings, and historic war zones rarely seen by outsiders. Riding days are long, the terrain is varied, and every day brings something different.
You’ll ride Honda 250cc dirt bikes with experienced local guides and a support van, spending roughly 75% off-road and 25% on-road. Evenings are spent unwinding in guesthouses and homestays, sharing meals, stories, and laughs with a group that quickly feels like family.
Ride History, Not Just Roads
You’ll follow original sections of the Ho Chi Minh Trail, passing bomb craters, jungle-covered battle sites, and remote villages where history is still part of daily life. It’s immersive, eye-opening, and unforgettable — the kind of riding that sticks with you long after the trip ends.
Learn Where It Counts
Wilderness medicine education is woven naturally into the journey. Wild Med Adventures faculty deliver hands-on, practical CME sessions focused on real injuries and real decision-making — taught in the same environments where these skills matter most.

Epic riding through remote terrain
Breaks for culture, fuel, and photos
Afternoon pushes to the next destination
Evening education, great food, and downtime
