Patagonia Ski CME Adventure
August 21 – August 28, 2027
Ski the legendary terrain of Northern Patagonia while earning up to 16 hours of wilderness medicine CME in one of the most visually stunning alpine regions on Earth. This immersive ski-based medical education experience combines world-class resort skiing, hands-on austere medicine education, and deep cultural immersion in Argentina’s iconic Lake District.
In partnership with Andes Mountain Guides, this 8-day expedition explores Cerro Catedral, Chapelco, and Cerro Bayo—three of Patagonia’s premier ski destinations—each offering distinct terrain, breathtaking scenery, and authentic local character. Days are spent skiing everything from tree-lined runs and mellow open bowls to lift-accessed backcountry terrain, while mornings and evenings are dedicated to practical wilderness medicine education led by expert Wild Med faculty.
This course is designed for medical professionals and adventure-seekers who want more than a traditional conference. You’ll practice patient assessment, stabilization, and evacuation skills in real mountain environments, collaborate closely with a tight-knit group, and return home with both earned CME credits and a deeper confidence practicing medicine in remote settings.
