Clark’s Cay – Honduras Marine Medicine CME
April 24 – May 1, 2027
Welcome to the ultimate blend of medical education and tropical paradise on a private island in Honduras. Clark’s Cay is a 4-acre oasis in the Bay Islands near Guanaja—home to open-air dining, an infinity pool and spa, and a lazy river vibe that makes it easy to unplug the moment you arrive.
This is a week where CME happens in the real world: you’ll cover essential wilderness, austere, and dive-related medicine while spending your days diving, snorkeling, fishing, and exploring some of the Caribbean’s most vibrant reefs—pinnacles, walls, and the legendary wreck of the Jado Trader.
You’ll complete the core curriculum of this certification-style course while enjoying a nearly all-inclusive stay designed to be hassle-free, highly social, and deeply restorative. Come solo or bring a partner—either way, expect small-group learning, big blue water, and friendships that tend to stick.

Group Dynamics
This is a small, tight-knit group experience built around shared curiosity, learning, and time spent together on a private island. Days naturally blend education, adventure, and downtime, creating an inclusive and relaxed environment where participants quickly feel at home. Whether you arrive solo or with a partner, you can expect strong camaraderie, meaningful conversations, and friendships that often continue well beyond the trip.
The Experience
The Experience
This is not just a conference — it’s a week of learning, living, and unwinding on your own private island.
For seven unforgettable nights, Clark’s Cay becomes your classroom, playground, and retreat. Days are spent diving pristine reefs, snorkeling turquoise shallows, fishing calm Caribbean waters, or simply soaking in island life. Evenings bring the group together for meaningful medical education, shared meals, and conversations that stretch long after the sun sets. It’s immersive, relaxed, and quietly epic in a way that’s hard to describe until you’ve lived it.
Your Own Private Island Classroom
Most CME happens in hotel ballrooms. This one happens on a 4-acre private island in the Bay Islands of Honduras. With open-air dining, an infinity pool, ocean views in every direction, and no outside distractions, learning feels natural and unforced. The pace slows down, the noise fades away, and suddenly there’s space to truly absorb both the education and the experience.
Learn Where It Counts
Education is woven seamlessly into the rhythm of island life. Wild Med Adventures faculty deliver hands-on, practical instruction focused on wilderness, austere, tropical, and dive-related medicine — taught in the same environments where these conditions actually occur. The result is learning that sticks, because it’s tied directly to real settings, real risks, and real decision-making.
The Flow of Each Day
Morning dives, snorkeling, fishing, or optional island adventures
Leisurely lunches and downtime to relax, explore, or recharge
Afternoon water time or island activities at your own pace
Evening medical education, group discussions, and shared meals
This flexible flow keeps the week engaging but never exhausting, allowing education, adventure, and rest to complement one another rather than compete.
What You’ll Take Home
Yes, you’ll earn CME credits — but you’ll also leave with:
Increased confidence managing medical issues in tropical and marine environments
Practical, applicable wilderness medicine skills
A deeper understanding of dive and travel-related medical risk
New friendships built through shared experiences
Memories from a private island few people ever get to experience
Most people leave Clark’s Cay saying the same thing:
“I can’t believe THIS is CME!”
